Hanskin Premium Repair BB Cream

9:00 am

After I found my HG Skin79 Hot Pink BB cream, I'd pretty much stopped trawling the net for new BB creams to try. This sachet had been sitting in my drawer for over a year, moved house multiple times, and finally I remembered to give it a go. Boy did I regret not doing it sooner! Over the past year I noticed my skin is becoming less combination oily, and leaning more towards normal. I find my oil balancing and oil controlling BB Creams/ foundations a little too drying, but hadn't had the heart to replace them totally!

Texture

is a light liquid, feels like the texture of light coverage foundation/ skin lotion. Blends easily, dries to a natural, slightly dewy finish. Light to medium coverage.

Colour

is pretty natural for a BB cream. It's marginally less grey than the Skin79 Hot Pink, but like most BB creams, it oxidises and settles into a more natural shade after 15-20 minutes.

Performance

is great. I was really pleased with how this looked really natural, but still gave enough coverage to even out my skin tone. This lasted all day and didn't settle into pores or fine lines. For something with a dewy finish it actually stayed the same all day without getting shiny or greasy! It kept my skin feeling comfortable and not dried out, and I looked radiant all day. The last photograph at the bottom is taken at night, after work and a half hour session of pilates. Under camera flash, this doesn't give that ghostly white cast some BB creams do, and even without blotting still looks pretty good.

REPURCHASE? Yes. Once I run out of my current BB creams, I'm likely to hunt down a full sized bottle.

RECOMMEND? Yes. Lovely light to medium coverage, especially great for lazy days when you can't be bothered with a full foundation routine. Warning, since this is quite pale, if you're any darker than NC25 buy this at your own risk.
